Services
Consultation, liaison, and representation—structured around your goals, your privacy, and collaboration with your existing care team.
Medical consultation & second opinion
Thoughtful review of your situation, records, and questions — so you understand options, trade-offs, and sensible next steps with your treating physicians.
Patient and family liaison
We act as a patient and family liaison, helping you communicate effectively with medical teams — including the ICU — during complex medical situations. When care feels unclear or your concerns are not being fully addressed, we ensure your questions, preferences, and priorities are clearly communicated, understood, and considered in decision-making.
Healthcare proxy (HCP) representation
For individuals who do not have a reliable healthcare proxy, we provide a trusted, experienced representative to step in when family members or friends are unavailable or unable to serve. We ensure that medical decisions are made thoughtfully, aligned with your wishes, and clearly communicated to care teams.
What we do not do
We do not provide direct medical care. Our recommendations are based solely on medical documentation provided by the client or by the medical provider on behalf of the client.
We do not perform direct physical examination, we do not order medical testing, and we do not refer to other medical providers. Our recommendations are advisory only and do not constitute a treatment plan.
Beyond the limitations above, the following applies as well:
- We do not provide emergency or urgent care — we are not a substitute for calling your local emergency number or going to the nearest emergency department.
- We do not replace your treating physicians or act as your primary doctor; we consult, liaise, and represent within the scope we agree with you—not as your sole clinician of record.
- We do not offer legal advice; questions about advance directives, capacity, guardianship, or rights belong with a qualified attorney.
Payment & insurance
We accept Medicare. During intake we explain how billing applies to your situation, including any Medicare coverage that may be relevant, and review payment options so you know what to expect before moving forward.
If you have questions about fees, timing, or how to pay, mention them when you contact us—we'll respond with specifics for your request.
